Afterwards adding a second bank card and calling to take it verified information technology shows up in gear manager, however when I go to access it on the spotter, the card has an mistake bulletin pop upwards saying "stay connected to telephone" I accept no idea what'due south causing this. My other card works fine, and the watch is otherwise functioning normal. I have tried restarting both spotter and phone, deleting/re-adding card, and uninstalling/installing gear director and samsung pay. But every time I go the aforementioned mistake message. Can someone please assist.

Still looking for a solution to this event, chosen Samsung Pay, but they weren't much help.

I don't have a solution, but yous're non lone. Happened to one of my cards. In that location's a Reddit thread about this (sounds like you or similar), but no solutions there either.

Yea the Reddit thread is the simply other person I have constitute that has had a similar problem, I'thou hoping Samsung does indeed "investigate" this issue as they told me they would simply if non information technology looks like I may be going back to Best buy to swap out the spotter.

I too had i of my ii cards on the sentinel do this. Idea it was just me since that menu was hard to setup in the start identify. Anyhow, I had to remove the menu in the Gear app on my telephone and become through the process of adding it again which is a pain since that menu needed to phone call my bank to exist verified. Anyway, I never lost any connection to the telephone while using Gear Pay, so they obviously take a hiccup in their system.

I too had one of my two cards on the watch do this. Thought it was merely me since that card was difficult to setup in the first place. Anyway, I had to remove the carte in the Gear app on my phone and go through the process of calculation it once again which is a hurting since that bill of fare needed to telephone call my banking concern to be verified. Anyway, I never lost whatever connectedness to the telephone while using Gear Pay, so they obviously have a hiccup in their system.

So later on removing the card through Gear managing director did that work for you? Or did it just go back to saying "stay connected to phone"

Just an update, I went back to Best Buy and exchanged the scout thinking perchance there was something defective with the picket, non the case at all, I'm having the verbal same problem with new watch.

Yep it did. The card has now been working fine since I re-activate it again.

Yea I finally got mine working, I didn't practise anything different from the other ten+ times of resetting the watch/Pay, just whatsoever it works now lol.

Well, same card happened over again. I'll bet it's merely with sure banks, or perchance cards.

Nope. Mine was a usbank one they worked after i asked and so to suspend it and un append it. AMEX been fine for me so far

Anyone have a prepare nevertheless?

I tried adding my Wells Fargo card to my gear s3 frontier and everything went fine until it was all gear up I got the same message "stay continued to phone" I attempted to call samsung pay customer service and got absolutely zero, as soon as I described the trouble the rep said they would call me back in an hour and that was five hours ago. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I just encountered this with my wells fargo card on my gear s3... called Samsung and had to reset the sentry go under apps on phone and delete Samsung pay gear add on and the gear app.

And so pair information technology back redo it all added my bill of fare chosen the bank to verify it on my watch again and restart the watch...it was fine after that.

(Thought I'd also add together this all started afterward Verizon pushed out the 3.0 update to my s3 archetype)

This is a known issues that happens on S2 and S3 on an Amex menu when you take at least ii cards installed. A new update was available to the gear plugin today, simply they'll only tell u.s. "minor bug fixes". I keep hoping they finally ready this very irritating issues.

I thought I was gratis of this issues with my new Galaxy Watch. Just the bug just happened. It took 3 months merely information technology happened. A reboot of both phone and watch got rid of information technology, for at present... Just absolutely ridiculous that this is still a thing.
